A practical tailgate drink setup checklist

Plan containers, drink spots and cleanup before you leave—without packing furniture you do not need.

Choose the drinks first

List what your group actually brings: standard cans, reusable water tumblers or individual cups. Measure the base of any pairing you have not checked. Steadi fits container bases 2–3.15 inches across, but full seating, shape, handles and added boots still matter. Do not assume every container with the same ounce size will work.

Assign a resting place for each person

Use a hard level table or suitable closed cooler lid, with 5.2 inches of full support per Steadi plus space for a hand. Keep drinks outside the serving route and away from table edges, hot equipment and foot traffic. A chair seat or sagging fabric tabletop is not automatically a suitable surface.

Choose a pack for the spots you will use

Count drink spots, not just guests. A 2-pack may cover two regular seats; larger packs can serve more simultaneous resting places. The picker shows the actual total and lets you mix colors at no extra cost. Color can help people recognize their holder, but does not prove which person owns an unattended drink.

Pack for arrival and departure

Transport drinks according to their container instructions. Steadi is not a vehicle cup-holder insert, tiedown or spill seal. Remove drinks from tables and cooler lids before moving them. Follow the venue’s current rules for containers and parking; this guide does not establish what a stadium allows.

Clean up for the next game

Empty drinks, remove holders carefully and hand wash Steadi. Let it dry before storage. No dishwasher or microwave. Pack holders where their fins will not be forced around sharp objects, and inspect the next container pairing rather than treating a previous fit as universal.
